It may not look beautiful, but this cream is packed with an abundance of boreal botanicals and some of the finest the forest has to offer. It's no wonder this product has developed a faithful following and regularly sells out! Better than oil-based pine ointments or salves, this product is a cream which includes water and oil ingredients together, and absorbs completely with a dry non-greasy feel. Specifically formulated to relieve redness and itching due to chronic or extreme skin dryness, and to benefit skin suffering from symptoms of eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Wild sarsaparilla root targets discomfort and itching of the skin, while plantain, Labrador tea and alder help soothe and promote natural healing and regeneration. Juniper, Scandinavian-sourced boreal pine tar (therapeutic medical grade) and activated coconut shell charcoal provide anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits that work to reduce redness, soothe and protect dry skin. Organic avocado, sweet almond and oat oils + shea butter are high in supportive essential fatty acids and vitamins to moisturize, strengthen, protect, and repair dry flaky skin.

This rich cream is vegan-friendly, pH balanced to prevent further damage to compromised skin, and spreads smoothly absorbing completely with a dry finish. Despite its appearance it is colorless on application and does not leave an oily or greasy feel. Because this product contains natural pine tar, it has a very distinctive aroma similar to wood smoke. Not recommended if you are sensitive or allergic to this scent.

Directions for use: apply as required to affected skin, also great as a preventative and protective treatment. Not intended for use on the face or on broken skin or wounds.

Heals severe eczema
My doctor recommended I try to find pine tar products to help with my eczema flare ups because it can help to reduce the condition, and this cream is the best I have tried. Has a lot of tar in it compared to others and is a beautiful creamy texture like a lotion. So much easier to use than an oily ointment. I love the smell of pine tar, and this goes on well to my bad spots and calms them right down. Now I mostly use it for maintenance and preventative moisturizing. There’s magic in that jar!
