A gentle, soap-free oil cleansing balm that deeply cleans without stripping your skin.

Formulated with nourishing oils, it melts away makeup, sunscreen, and impurities before transforming into a creamy and luxurious lather when mixed with water, rinsing cleanly off skin without an oily residue (your towels will thank you!). Skin is left clean, balanced, and never tight.

Gentle clays help clear clogged pores, while wildcrafted botanicals provide a light boreal aroma along with natural toning, clarifying, and soothing benefits.

 

Choose between classic 'two tree' (black spruce and balsam fir) boreal oil cleanser, or the new limited offering 'balsam bud' (balsam poplar bud resin) boreal oil cleanser.

OILY SKIN - Because oils dissolve other oils, this balm is remarkable for troubled skin producing too much sebum, blocked pores and blackheads. It easily dissolves these oils and deep cleans pores.

 

DRY and SENSITIVE SKIN - This balm replenishes your skin with nutritious plant seed oils while it gently cleans.

 

Directions for use: using oil cleansing balms takes some getting used to. We are made to think that skin should feel tight and dry after 'cleaning'. With this balm, your skin is left deeply moisturized. If you don't like this feeling, you can simply wipe your skin with a dry towel to finish.

With dry fingers, take a small amount of balm and massage well onto skin to dissolve oil, dirt, and makeup. Add water and continue massaging until the balm transforms into a milky cream. Rinse well with water. For extra moisturizing skip the water rinse and gently wipe off with a soft towel. Pat skin to dry.

Balms and ointments shipped during summer months may soften or melt during transport. I may use additional insulation or cold packs to try to maintain temperatures, however, melting may not be preventable. Please consider ordering these items during cooler weather. If your balm or ointment arrives soft, place it in the refrigerator to solidify. Products containing natural butters like shea or cocoa may change texture and become grainy after melting. This does not affect their usability or safety.
