I'm preparing to launch a new juniper whole body deodorant - suitable for everyone! If you previously used the version sold in the Backcountry Kit - this is a new and improved formula.

The full size deodorant will be sold in a 60 mL (2 oz) tin under the name junipūr™, but for now I am offering a sampler size for those who want to try it. Please note - deodorants don't stop you from sweating like anti-perspirants do, they eliminate odour. It's good for your body to sweat and detoxify, so we don't want to hinder that natural process.

30 mL (1 oz) reusable/recyclable metal tin
Apply a small amount (pea to almond-sized depending on body part) to underarms, breasts, feet, or anywhere you want to control sweat and odour. Massage into skin well for a dry finish. A little goes a very long way.

Why a tin instead of a tube?
Because this works better. The soft, paste-like texture glides on easily with your fingertips and stays consistent through temperature swings—no crumbling, no melting mess.
Plus, applying by hand keeps you connected to your body—helping you notice things like lumps, cysts, or changes your old stick would never catch.

Does it smell strong?
Not at all. It has a gentle, natural scent from infused juniper berries—something you’ll notice, but no one else will.

Will I still sweat?
Yes—and that’s a good thing. This supports your body’s natural detox process. You may sweat more at first, but you’ll stay fresh thanks to odor-targeting minerals and moisture-absorbing powders.

How does it stop odor?
By working with your body, not masking it. Magnesium and zinc help neutralize odor-causing bacteria so you stay naturally fresh all day.

Is it okay for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. No baking soda, no fragrance, no synthetics—just gentle, effective ingredients that respect your skin barrier, everywhere on your body.

Balms and ointments shipped during summer months may soften or melt during transport. I may use additional insulation or cold packs to try to maintain temperatures, however, melting may not be preventable. Please consider ordering these items during cooler weather. If your balm or ointment arrives soft, place it in the refrigerator to solidify. Products containing natural butters like shea or cocoa may change texture and become grainy after melting. This does not affect their usability or safety.

This works!
I really enjoy using this. It’s a lovely smooth texture but goes on skin dry. The scent is subtle and I can smell it through the day but it’s not overwhelming. And most importantly it works! My sensitive skin is tolerating it well and I don’t stink! I’m looking forward to the full size tin!
