Paper birch, fireweed, and plantain help calm inflammation and reduce redness, while fireweed’s oenothein B—a powerful polyphenol—acts as an anti-irritant to soothe reactive skin. Nourishing oils and olive squalane restore the moisture barrier, improve elasticity, and support mature skin, leaving it soft, resilient, and replenished. Lightweight yet deeply restorative, it’s perfect for protecting and rebalancing compromised skin.

Grass River Facial Oil is vegan-friendly, free of preservatives, fragrance, colorants, and common allergens. Oils used are non-comedogenic (will not clog pores), lightweight and fast absorbing, and do not leave your skin feeling greasy or heavy. This oil spreads smoothly and leaves a silky matte finish, and is suitable for use during the day or at night. The beautiful bright green color is due to chlorophyll and other nutrients which are extracted from the botanicals.
Suitable for all skin types, including oily, needing gentle but intensive softening, restoration and protection.
Directions for use: dispense 1-2 pumps into palm. Using fingertips, gently apply to clean face and neck with an upward motion. Use daily or as required, alone or after your favorite moisturizer.

I was skeptical about the concept of facial oil. I tried it and really like it; the oil soaks in so beautifully and I love how it feels. It has a grassy smell, but you'll soon appreciate that. I use it at bedtime, but have also used for daytime. You only need one drop. (The maker has made a smaller bottle now... totally understandable because the oil goes a long way)
It's perfect really, just giving 4 stars because I used to buy the larger size and wish it was still offered. I love it and will continue to buy though, lots of squalane in it and it's a great deal. Goes on so smooth and absorbs well without feeling heavy on my skin. Great for inflamed or red skin, calms it right down and helps repair damage.
